Goodbye Conan, My Love January 22, 2010
Final Fantasy 1 and 2 for iPhone

Square Enix has announced they are porting the Final Fantasy 1 and 2 games from the PSP to the iPhone. I love a good medieval game! Final Fantasy got all weird to me with the futuristic stuff. I hate complain about pricing, but I probably won’t pick these up unless their cheep and judging by their other mini-game games that cost $10, I wouldn’t expect these two games to be any cheaper.
This Spring: Netflix on the Wii January 12, 2010
Nintendo and Netflix are confirming that this spring they will be offering a disk for the Wii that allows you to stream Netflix movies. Previous attempts at streaming video on the Wii from Nintendo, in the Nintendo Channel are still buffering. There’s no screen shots or anything at this time. I didn’t include a hypothetical picture because you can probably imagine what a red DVD looks like. The disk will be free to current Netflix members who pay at least $9 a month. This streaming will not work with Netflix “profiles”, the sub-accounts you can make within Netflix.
Pokéwalker January 11, 2010

The new Pokémon DS game HeartGold and SoulSilver, rereleases of Pokémon Gold and Silver, will come with a pedometer that you can put your Pokémon in and level them up by walking. Price? Amazon has it listed for $35. It releases March 14th.
This is awesome! Now if you know me, and I’m sure you do, this comes to be the third pedometer I am going to be carrying in my pocket. Right now I have an iPod nano and I’m waiting for my Fitbit to ship. How many pedometers do you have?
Razer Chimaera

Just announced from the people who make really expensive mouse pads: a wireless Xbox 360 headset. This is neat because I just threw down $60 on the official Microsoft version for it to come dead on arrival and find out that they all pretty much come dead or die soon after opening the box.
This product sends all of the Xbox 360’s sounds into this 5.1 surround sound headset, voice chat from your games, and has a microphone. It comes with a charging dock and runs $130. That’s a little more than twice the price of the official one, which is overpriced, but you get a lot more. Battery life is not listed.
I just wish it would work with my PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 together, it’d totally help me with having the turn the volume up and down on my TV all time for consideration of the people around me.
Boxee Box January 5, 2010

The folks at D-link, the guys who make cheap products that barely work, somehow got this thing. Boxee’s Apple TV and Roku competitor. Now Boxee’s know for their Hulu hacking war they kept losing. Now all of this sounds like a recipe for something I don’t like right? Well it’s cheap. The price is “under 200.” It plays Flash. It also has a remote kinda like the Apple TV but on the undeside is a full fledged keyboard. That’s cool to me.
How does this thing stack? It doesn’t.
Asus E-Cleaner December 25, 2009
Asus has announced their affordable version of the Roomba. This thing runs at $140 and cleans the house. You’re probably familiar with Roomba by now so no use describing what this thing does. It has a ultra violent light it uses to disinfect and comes with a remote so you can pretend to play Pac-man or Frogger with it. Oh, and it uses freakin’ lazers. C’mon. I want one.
